The Red Mile

21st April... God, am I 31 already??? Had dinner and watched the hockey game at Earls Restuarant, we won. Then walked down 17th Ave aka 'The Red Mile'. After the 'Calgary Flames' win a hockey game, the 20,000 fans all dressed in their red jerseys pour out of the stadium (Saddle Dome) and onto 17th Ave, therefore it looks like a mile of red... quite amazing really - it's crazy, like New Years Eve! For more photos/info, see http://www.calgaryflames.com/

Coffee with the Ladies

29th March, Mary-Elizabeth's mom, Pauline came to Calgary to visit. We solved all the problems of the world in one afternoon.

Columbian Icefields

On 26th March drove to the Columbian Icefields. It only 'looks' cold... really!

We Mean Green!

St Paddy's day was a work function (Aaron's) called 'Drink a Small Town Dry' (oh dear!). The 'small town' that we were supposedly 'drinking dry' was a surprise. Got on a 'Party Bus' with a dancing pole in the middle and all and ended up about an hour out of Calgary.
